Born in 1977 in the beautiful region of Aydın, Turkey, Kamil Gül is married and has two children, one of whom is deceased. He began his journey in instrument making as a hobby in 2004. He developed his skills with the support of valuable mentors, both domestic and international luthiers, and by utilizing written resources on instrument making from around the world.

Today, in his production facilities located in Ankara, alongside a team of experts he has trained, he primarily manufactures Turkish ouds and Arabic ouds, as well as lutes, tamburs, and baglamas. Each instrument, meticulously handcrafted, is of unique quality and has become a preferred piece of art for experts both in Turkey and globally.

The instruments produced in Kamil Gül's workshop, especially the ouds and lutes, are characterized by their flawless craftsmanship, excellent tonal qualities, and timeless aesthetics, marking a distinctive style.
